MLW Fusion: Hammerstone remains a Champion without a title

What I don’t get is why does Raven from The Calling want Jacob Fatu to join his band of demon worshipers? Normally when someone wants to take over, they view everyone else as a threat, so the only way to make sure they’re not going to get in the way is by persuading them to join their team.

Delusional. You’re asking for too much, Raven. Now, Rickey Shane Page will go after Fatu after The Calling already went after Lance Anoa’i last week.

Fantastik & Rayo vs. Lucha Solos vs. Los Macizos vs. Xtasis – Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match

The match hasn’t officially started, but everyone didn’t care enough to jump their opponents early. Lucha Solos were taking out bodies with high flying maneuvers.

One of the duos from Los Macizos gets flipped onto the main floor by Lucha Solos at the begin of this match.

Rayo manages to distort Lucha Solos with the help of Fantastik, who body splashes from the top rope for a failed cover due to an interruption by Xtasis.

Once Los Masizos came back into the fold, they use metallic pans to hit their opponents’ heads with. They bring the hardcore energy needed in this fight according to commentary.

This whole environment was a mess, I gotta tell you. The epic Lucha quickness made this a sight to behold.

Anton Carillo from Xtasis gets into a cover almost ending the fight, but the interception from Rayo caused him the victory. Rayo and Fantastik play a double as Rayo busts one of Los Macizos up allowing Fantastik to body crash him into a table.

Los Macizos use glass as a weapon as they powerbomb Carillo against it followed by a suplex bridge resulting in a victory. A sharp one. Ouch.

Winners: Los Macizos

Save the date September 3rd on your calendars, people. Fury Road is only four weeks away, and it’s going to be live on FITE+. Cardona vs. Warner. Mack vs. Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship. Ichiban vs. Tracy Williams. B3cca vs. Maki Itoh for a chance to face Delmi Exo for a title opportunity. Let’s not forget, Mister Saint Laurent will be having a talk session with a mystery guest that you wouldn’t want to miss.

I think this is the angriest I’ve seen Jacob Fatu. He’s very pissed after what happened to Lance Anoa’i. He even banged his fists against a metal gate. “The body count is just about to rise!”

Alex Hammerstone vs. Danny Limelight

This will be the first time we’ll see Hammerstone in a singles match without a Championship around his waist. How will his domineer be portraited for the audience to see?

Since we don’t know Hammerstone’s state of mind, Limelight could have a chance, although, that would be speaking too soon. Limelight did make some points where some wrestlers put on some weight then reduce themselves to use weaponry rather than old fashion brawling. He’s very brash.

Before the match started, The Calling had something to say. Rickey Shane Page and Akira were relishing in their handy work when they beat Lance Anoa’i up. But that wasn’t the weird part, Page said that assault left him hungry, so Raven asked Doctor Cornwallis to not overcooked… the steak? Geez. Wow.

Once the bell rings, Hammerstone shoves Limelight away then follows that up with a back drop.

Limelight dodges an incoming attack and gains some momentum as he drops Hammerstone’s leg against the second rope. Danny continues to work on Hammerstone’s leg as he collides it with the post.

Alex rebuilds himself up as he delivers a couple of clotheslines to Limelight’s throat after he continuously showed off.

Hammerstone was looking for the Nightmare Pendulum, yet Limelight ducks underneath then he receives an elbow to the face for scurrying.

Danny has Hammerstone in the half crab submission move as he reinforces the pain around Alex’ bad leg. Hammerstone may have pushed his opponent away, but Danny uses that to retaliate with a running knee to Alex’ jaw.

Limelight went for a flying DDT, gets caught mid-air as Hammerstone performs a beautiful Nightmare Pendulum for a victory.

BREAKING NEWS: Jacob Fatu is putting his National Openweight Championship on the line against Rickey Shane Page next week. Also, Tracy Williams and Davey Boy Smith Jr. go head-to-head in the Finals of the Opera Cup.

Winner: Alex Hammerstone
