The Best of the Super Jr. 30 finale was this morning and from 20 men we are now down to two, in today’s main event it will be Master Wato against Titán to crown this year’s BOSJ30 winner.

Wato and Titán began the bout with some chain wrestling and they were just easing into the action. Both men then had the same ideas and were continuing to go for all the same moves, Wato got the first big move with a hurricanrana sending Titán to the outside. He followed that with a springboard plancha onto Titán, they then returned to the ring and Wato was connecting with some stiff strikes.

Titán got some momentum back by focusing on Wato’s knee, he hit him with a dropkick to the knee and then locked in the Indian Deathlock. Now anytime Wato tried to get some offence, Titán would go back after the knee. Titán knocked Wato to the outside with a dropkick and then went for a suicide dive, but he was caught in the middle of the ropes with a kick. Wato then went high risk himself, he leaped over the top rope and hit Titán with a tope.

Wato followed that with another aerial manoeuvre hitting a springboard European uppercut, but that could not keep Titán down. Titán reversed a run from Wato by flipping him out of the ring and then hitting a springboard moonsault to the outside. After that beautiful moonsault Titán again went flying over the top rope, this time hitting Wato with a tope.

Back in the ring now, both men were exchanging strikes and there was a wonderful sequence: Titán hit a superkick, Wato came right back with a neck breaker and then Titán leaped up and hit a Pelé kick. The exchanges continued as both men were now trading forearms, but Wato got the best of it as he ended up hitting Titán with Recientemente. After Titán kicked out at two, Wato quickly transitioned into the Vendaval, but Titán made it to the ropes to hang on.

Wato was hoping for the Tsutenkaku German next, but Titán blocked and hit Wato with the springboard tornado DDT. Titán followed that with the running lariat where he runs through the ropes to take his opponent out. Wato was now laying flat on his stomach and Titán hit him with a springboard double-foot stomp to his back, but it only got him a two count. Titán wasted no time after the kick out by locking Wato right into another Indian Death Lock.

As Wato was crawling for the ropes, Titán tried to transition into his signature submission hold but he could not lock it in. Titán wanted to stay on the attack, but Wato slipped behind him and was able to hit the Tsutenkaku German. A move that won him many matches in this tournament, but tonight Titán was able to kick out at two.

Titán then refusing to be beaten hit Wato with La Mistica, he was pulling out everything from his arsenal, but Wato kicked out again. With Wato now reeling, Titán hit a trio of kicks and then went to the top rope to hit a perfect double foot-stomp. But, of course, you guessed it right, Wato kicked out again!

Wato now responded with a spinning kick, he then followed that with another Tsutenkaku German. However, this time instead of going for the pin he got Titán back up and hit Recientemente II to finally get the victory and be crowned the BOSJ30 winner! Master Wato is this year’s best and he now earns himself an opportunity against Hiromu Takahashi for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
