BOSJ: A Block semi-finals decided

The semi-finals of A Block have been decided in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. It will be ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey versus Titan to decide the overall winner of the block.

In one of the best matches of the tournament, Bailey defeated Lio Rush to move ahead. Exhausted and on their knees, Bailey and Rush threw forearm shots at each other. Rush clotheslined Bailey right out of his boots. Rush and Bailey traded spin kicks. Rush stopped Bailey’s windmill kick with a kick of his own causing Bailey to roll out of the ring. Bailey missed a running, leaping kick on the floor. Rush spun him around with a Spanish Fly. Inside the ring, Rush hit another Spanish Fly but this time from the top rope for a two count.

Bailey blocked Final Hour with a boot to the face. He rolled up Rush for a two count. Bailey missed the Ultimate Weapon but would place Rush on the top rope for the Flamingo Driver and the win.

Titan would advance after forcing Hiromu Takahashi to submit in a bridging submission hold in a win that stunned the crowd in Edion Arena.

The semi-finals of the Best of the Super Junior tournament will take place on Friday with the finals on Sunday.
