Following the announcement that AEW will be launching Collision, a weekly 2-hour show that will air on Saturday nights starting in June, the company revealed the first batch of cities and dates for the show, including four taking place in the Great White North.
Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena will host the show on June 24th, making it a double-shot weekend with the previously-announced AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event taking place the next night.
Similarly, on Thursday, June 29th, Collision will be taped at Hamilton, Ontario’s FirstOntario Centre. That show will take place the night after a live episode of Dynamite is held in the same venue. In July, the company will head to the prairies: Collision will be live on July 8th in Regina, Saskatchewan at the Brandt Centre, and on July 15th in the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta.
The debut episode of Collision will take place on June 17th. The host city has not yet been named – it will be revealed on next Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. It is widely expected that it will be Chicago, Illinois and that the show will feature the return to the company of Chicago native CM Punk.
The only non-Canadian Collision date announced so far is the July 22nd episode, which will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Tickets for the shows will be available at TicketMaster and AEWTix.com
