Night four of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament was full of all manner of devious skullduggery as Lio Rush moved into first place overall with eight points maintaining his undefeated streak by beating Taiji Ishimori.

The House of Torture’s Sho tried to steal a win but failed in his match with Hiromu Takahashi. Evil joins the Japanese broadcast team whether they want him there or not. Sho comes down to the ring in his street clothes and with his wrench in his back pocket. Sho reads a note he says is from Hiromu. In the note, Hiromu writes that he forfeits the match to Sho. When the ring announcer won’t read the note Sho threatens him with his wrench. Sho forces the official to raise his hand in victory. As Evil and Sho walk off, Hiromu’s music plays. Hiromu emerges all tied up with tape. He drop kicks both Evil and Sho.

As the official calls for the bell, Sho distracts the official so that Evil can attack with a steel chair. Hiromu kicks Evil in the face and takes the chair. The official warns Hiromu. Sho pushes Hiromu into the official and drops him with a German suplex. Evil and Sho double-team Hiromu as the official lays dazed. Sho batters Hiromu with a steel chair.

Evil distracts the official so that he can hand off the wrench to Sho. Hiromu gains control of the wrench and pretends that Sho struck him with it. While the official is tied up reprimanding Sho, Hiromu hits Evil in the head with the wrench. He totally pins Sho with Everything is Evil, a Time Bomb 2 and a Time Bomb.

In his match against Clark Connors, Yoh opted for some Toru Yano tactics by ripping off a turnbuckle. Connors uses the turnbuckle and the exposed corner against him. Yoh dodges a Connors’ charge. Connors hits the exposed buckle. Yoh rolls him up for the win. Connors beats Yoh with the turnbuckle after the match and hits his No Chaser finisher. He then puts Yoh’s neck over the turnbuckle and smashes Yoh’s head with a steel chair. Holding his neck, Yoh crawled to the back.

United Empire members Francesco Akira and Dan Moloney battled as well. Although Moloney had the strength and experience advantage, Akira got the three count with his running knee strike to the back of Moloney’s head. After the match both men shook hands.
