All Elite Wrestling is in Canada for just the second time ever tonight, as Dynamite is live in Winnipeg, MB. To lead into Dynamite tonight, AEW has made the massive announcement that they will be returning to Canada for a six-show summer tour.
The headliner of this show will be the highly anticipated return of the AEW x New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW): Forbidden Door pay-per-view live in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena on June 25.
This will be AEW’s second time in Toronto after selling out Coca-Cola Coliseum in minutes for their Canadian debut last October. “Canada has a rich wrestling heritage, and our debut in Toronto last year served as a special moment in our incredible relationship with fans throughout the country,” said Tony Khan in a written statement.
Forbidden Door is a special event that puts the best wrestlers AEW has to offer up against the best wrestlers NJPW has to offer. Tickets for Forbidden Door go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 AM ET.
The other five shows happening on this tour include:
- Wednesday, June 28: “AEW: Dynamite” and “AEW: Rampage” live from FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. ET.
