The situation is just coming to light now but TMZ is reporting that Sonya Deville was arrested last month.
According to court documents, a valet found a handgun in the glove box of her car. The firearm didn’t have a proper permit so Deville was arrested and charged with one count of unlawful weapon possession.
Sources close to Deville told TMZ that the firearm is actually registered in Florida but not New Jersey where she was arrested.
The source also claims that Deville purchased the gun after an intruder in her home attempted to kidnap her.
