Starting tonight, January 3, 2023, the flagship program of the National Wrestling Alliance, NWA Powerrr, returns to YouTube.
It had been on Fite TV, as a part of a pay service, since returning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NWA pay-per-views will continue to be provided via Fite TV.
The Tuesday NWA Powerrr program will debut at 6:05 p.m. EST each week. The NWA USA program will continue to drop on Saturdays at noon ET.
“I want to thank our viewers who used FITE’s Monthly or Annual subscription service to enjoy our product,” said William Patrick Corgan, president of the NWA in a press release. “Making the switch to having the world be able to watch NWA Powerrr at the same time is essential to our growth strategy going forward. FITE has been an important partner and we are happy to continue our relationship with FITE as our pay-per-view provider.”
The NWA had launched an annual subscription, and the release noted that any viewers with outstanding credit can apply it to future NWA PPVs. The NWA Monthly Subscription is canceled effective immediately.
There will be a live NWA Powerrr on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from the Knoxville Convention Center, but that one will begin at 7 p.m. ET. The next NWA PPV is Nuff Said, on February 11, 2023 from the Egypt Shrine Center in Tampa.
