Two more combatants have moved on in the NJPW TV Championship Tournament. At night six of the Battle Autumn tour Ren Narita defeated the veteran Toru Yano and Sanada beat Kenta. Narita will now face Sanada in the semi-finals.
Narita pinned Yano with a running flying knee off the ropes. Sanada absorbed all the hard-hitting Kenta could throw at him. He shoved Kenta into an exposed turnbuckle he himself ripped apart. Sanada rolled him up with his bridging pin.
The semi-final round of the NJPW TV Championship Tournament is as follows:
- Evil vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
- SANADA vs. Ren Narita
The first ever NJPW TV Champion will be crowned at Wrestle Kingdom in January.
