WWE’s NXT brand has shed some more talent.
Fightful is reporting that there have been some releases, with perhaps more to come.
Announced names include:
Persia Perotti (Stephanie De Landre) – The Australian had been teaming with Indi Hartwell, facing Toxic Attraction.
Dexter Lumis (Sam Shaw) – Having been through TNA and OVW, Sam Shaw signed with NXT in 2019 and was renamed Dexter Lumis. He was highly featured, challenging for the North American title, and in a romantic storyline with Indi Hartwell.
Dakota Kai (Cheree Georgina Crowley) – The native of New Zealand wrestled as Evie before getting to NXT. She had been a part of many major storylines, including alongside Raquel González as NXT Women’s tag champions.
Malcom Bivens (Stokely Hathaway) – The manager / mouthpiece had been around all the next level promotions — Ring of Honor, EVOLVE, MLW — before signing with NXT in March 2019. Initially, he was Court Moore, but switched to Malcolm Bivens. At various times, he managed Babatunde, Jermaine Haley, Rinku Singh, Saurav Gurjar, Tyler Rust. His last big moment came when he was revealed as the manager of the Diamond Mine stable, which included Roderick Strong, Hachiman and Rust.
Harland (Parker Boudreaux) – A former college football player, many were comparing Boudreaux to a young Brock Lesnar, before the character reinvention as Harland.
Draco Anthony (Reginald Chase Crews) – A Houston native, he’d debuted in February.
