As first reported by TMZ, former professional boxer and sometime pro-wrestling personality Mike Tyson attacked a man on a flight to Florida.

According to reports, Tyson was badgered by two men who were on a flight with him leaving San Francisco International Airport and heading to the Sunshine State.

A witness states that Tyson was polite at first, even letting them take a selfie with him. When one man wouldn’t leave the boxing legend alone he unleashed a series of punches before leaving the plane.

The bloodied man had to receive medical treatment and spoke to police.

There is no news on whether charges are pending or not.

TMZ has video of the incident here.

The former world heavyweight boxing champion has appeared for both the WWE and for AEW. In 1998, Tyson was heavily involved in the Shawn Michaels/DX rivalry with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and appeared as a special guest enforcer at their match at WrestleMania XIV. Sources reported at the time that Tyson received $3 million for his appearance.

Tyson returned to the WWE hosing an episode of Raw in 2010. He teamed with Chris Jericho against DX in a tag team match but Tyson betrayed Jericho knocking him out. Jericho was pinned by Shawn Michaels.

At AEW’s Double or Nothing show in 2020, Tyson presented the TNT Championship to Cody after he defeated Lance Archer.
