It is said a lot by fans in pro wrestling today but these two really do deserve it.

Robbie Eagles is now a double champion and veteran Tiger Mask IV now has his seventh championship in NJPW. Eagles and Mask defeated IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Suzuki-gun’s Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado for the titles at the final Road to Power Struggle event. Eagles is also the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

With Tiger Mask on the apron and Eagles in the ring, the pair gave Kanemaru simultaneous running kicks in a corner. Eagles hit the Turbo Backpack and went for the pin but Desperado made the save. Tiger Mask drop kicked and splashed Desperado out of the ring so that Eagles could force Kanemaru to submit to the Ron Miller Special after a 450 Splash.

“I enjoyed tonight because I made it official. ‘Bobby Two Belts’ is here and I couldn’t have asked for a better tag team partner than Tiger Mask!” said Eagles paying tribute to his tag team partner.

Earlier, Kenta threw gasoline on the fire that is his feud with NJPW’s Ace when he and Gedo took on Hiroshi Tanahashi and Togi Makabe.

Tanahashi put Gedo in the cloverleaf submission. Kenta took the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship belt and whacked The Ace in the back of the head causing the disqualification. Kenta then hit Makabe in the head with it too knocking him off the apron.

As The Ace lay unconscious on the mat, Kenta laid in some more punches. When three Young Lions came to put an end to the attack Kenta beat the snot out of them too. Kenta then stood over The Ace holding the title. Kenta left the ring taking the belt with him.
