Cobb: ‘Tomorrow is the last time you will see Okada in Korakuen Hall’

Even without their leader Will Ospreay or ally Henare, the United Empire is still tearing things up in New Japan. At night 20 of the Summer Struggle tour they dominated Satoshi Kojima and Kazuchika Okada in the main event of the evening.

Jeff Cobb and The Great-O-Khan first cut off Okada from Kojima devastating him and then they did the same thing to Kojima.

Kojima threw down his elbow pad preparing to annihilate Cobb with his Lariat. Cobb super kicked and clotheslined him in the chest instead. Cobb mocked Kojima by picking up his elbow pad and throwing it into the air. His lariat though didn’t have any effect on Kojima who stood stock still. He clotheslined Cobb to his knees.

Cobb derailed Kojima’s Lariat by scooping him up for a Tour of the Islands. Okada punched Cobb from behind. Khan hit Okada with his Mongolian Chops.

Cobb stunned Okada by using his own Tombstone Piledriver planting him in the middle of the ring. Cobb went to hit Kojima with a Rainmaker Clothesline. At the last second, he lifted Kojima up for another Tour of the Islands for the pinfall.

Khan stomped on a Young Lion assisting Kojima. Khan kicked Kojima and the Young Lion to the floor. Cobb told a dazed Okada as he was led away by Young Lions that he would never beat him.

“Good people of Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures, right now is the rainy season but it cannot rain forever. The ‘Alohamaker’ will make those rain clouds disappear and along with that, Okada will be gone! Tomorrow is the last time you will see Okada in Korakuen Hall!” promised Cobb as he spoke to the crowd.

At the final Summer Struggle event tomorrow The United Empire will battle Kazuchika Okada and his partner Togi Makabe.
