NXT has been battered and bruised lately but as they say…the show must go on. Here are our predictions and prognostications.

Walter (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov – NXT United Kingdom Championship

Since NXT is changing and will be all about those big fellows Vince likes so much… Winner: Walter

Honestly predicting any NXT matches is extremely difficult nowadays due to the layoffs (and the possibility of more to come) and indications that Vince McMahon is looking to drastically reshape the brand.  As such I’ll go with Draguno becoming NXT UK Champion if for no other reason than McMahon seems all about changing things up.

Karrion Kross (c) vs. Samoa Joe – NXT Championship Match

If Kross is going to continue to appear on RAW than this would be the logical place to have him drop the NXT Title to Samoa Joe.  However, with the way everything involving NXT wrestlers seem up in the air right now it is very difficult to tell if Kross will continue on RAW or not.

John Powell

With Kross heading to the main roster, it is kind of transparent what’s happening here. Winner: Samoa Joe

Raquel González (c) vs. Dakota Kai – NXT Women’s Championship Match

It would seem that González is bound for bigger and better things. She will probably be heading to the main roster sooner rather than later to become competition for Ripley, if Ripley is even a thing any more. Winner: Dakota Kai.

LA Knight (c) vs. Cameron Grimes – Million Dollar Championship Match

Ted DiBiase on the side of a babyface doesn’t seem to have happened since his days in WCW.  Yet despite that past history on the side of the angels it just seems like a swerve is in order.  Thus, look for DiBiase to turn on Grimes and help LA Knight win the bout.

Like Matt, I have a funny feeling that Dibiase will turn heel here throwing his support behind Knight and leaving Grimes in the dust. Winner: LA Knight.

Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole – Two-out-of-three-falls Match (Singles, Street Fight, Steel Cage)

This will almost certainly be the match of the night.  Still with all the upheaval happening with NXT it is possible both O’Reilly and Cole move on to other promotions within the next several weeks.  Regardless look for them to tear the house down and for the fans at the end to not really care who gets their hand raised.  As for who wins?  The flip of the coin says O’Reilly.

John Powell

Editor-in-Chief

This will probably be Adam Cole’s NXT-WWE farewell as he heads off to that OTHER place. It would be cool if there could be that Curtain Call moment, the one that HHH was a part of all those years ago, for the Undisputed Era but I wouldn’t count on it. Winner: Kyle O’Reilly
