In what has to be considered to be a massive upset the newly-formed team of Tiger Mask and Robbie Eagles defeated the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, El Desperado on night three of the Super Jr. Tag League tournament.
In the final moments of their match Eagles dodged Kanemaru’s Deep Impact finisher. When Kanemaru landed he hurt his knee. That was all Eagles needed to put him away. After a bit of a back and forth, Tiger Mask took out Desperado with a suicide dive on the floor. Eagles hit his 450 splash on Kanemaru and locked on the Ron Miller Special for the win.
Before the two Bullet Club teams could have it out in their bout El Phantasmo commanded Togo to lay down for the three count. Togo refused and tagged in Gedo. Gedo laid down but Togo broke Phantasmo’s pin. Gedo tried to keep the peace as everyone got heated.
Gedo and Togo feign surrender then take their shots. Gedo loses it whipping Ishimori with his belt. The official stops Gedo from using his brass knuckles. You think they would frisk him before every match. Togo gets himself a piece of Ishimori too by choking him with his garotte. Phantasmo saves Ishimori giving Gedo a Sudden Death kick. Gedo falls into the official. Phantasmo takes out Togo with a plancha on the floor.

Ishimori pulls an Eddie Guerrero by throwing one of the championship belts at Gedo and faking being hit with it. The official doesn’t totally buy the ruse. Ishimori tries using the ropes for leverage. Gedo kicks out. The official kicks Ishimori’s legs off the ropes and Ishimori shoves, confronts them. Gedo sneaks in a roll-up. Ishimori flips it into the Yes Lock. Eventually Phantasmo lends a hand (or is that a foot?) with a Sudden Death kick. Ishimori pins Gedo.
Roppongi 3K chalked up yet another loss with Master Wato and Ryusuke Taguchi double-teaming Yoh for the pin. Roppongi are doing so badly they are actually tied with Gedo and Togo for last place.

Night 13
Toru Yano, Tomoaki Honma and Hiroyoshi Tenzan versus Bullet Club (Chase Owens, Jado and Yujiro Takahashi)
Chase Owens tears off a turnbuckle. He and Yano play hot potato with it. Jado brings his kendo stick into the ring. Yano pushes Owens into Jado, hit them both with low-blows and pins Jado.
Winners: Toru Yano, Tomoaki Honma and Hiroyoshi Tenzan
Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI and Togi Makabe versus Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito)
Shingo puts Makabe away. Everyone has a staredown. Bushi is still extremely piss about what Ishii did to him on Night 12. They shove each other. Bushi gives him an Enzuigiri which staggers and drops the tank. Ishii is so angry he throws a steel chair at Bushi. Takagi picks it up, opens it up and sits on it.

Owens clocks Honma with a kick. He stumbles into the official. Owens low-blows Honma for the pinfall.

Kojima is pinned by Takagi’s Last of the Dragon. Ishii goes mental ripping off Bushi’s mask and walks away with it.
