It was never say die for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions on the final night of the NJPW Kizuna Road tour.
Chaos (Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI and Tomohiro Ishii) defeated Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima and Hiroyoshi Tenzan in the main event tag team tussle.
After their tremendous battle last night, Nagata and Ishii began things daring each other to deliver their best shots. Nagata gets the best of Ishii by clocking him in the head with a big boot and dodging his attacks. Ishii is backed into the enemy corner. He spins around getting the heck out of there before he can be double or triple teamed.
Kojima sets up Goto for the machine gun chops in the corner. Hashi runs over, puts Goto in the corner giving him a taste of his own medicine. Tenzan hits Hashi with a sledgehammer smash from behind. Tenzan and Kojima take Hashi down with a double suplex. They then go back to pummeling Goto.
The faces, all of them, take the fight to the floor where everyone throws everyone into the steel ring barricade. Tenzan’s Mongolian chops have Hashi collapsing into a corner. Hashi puts on the Butterfly Lock but Tenzan powers out of it rising back to his feet. Hashi gets into a slugfest, a chopfest with Tenzan.
Nagata takes over busting up Hashi all over the ring with nasty kicks, strikes. The other Chaos members intervene. It take a lot of damage from them though to make Nagata fall.
Ishii shows some true grit by not submitting to Nagata’s submissions. They each hit each other with suplexes. Things quickly turn into a big brawl with Ishii being sent to dreamland with a 3-D from Tenzan and Kojima. As they scrape Goto off the canvass it looks like the challengers are on their way to winning the belts. Hashi though jumps back into the fray taking the opposition out with clotheslines and kicks. They double team Kojima for a two count. After screwing up a GTW pretty badly, Goto pins Kojima with a GTR in an awkward finish. All of the faces shake hands.
As Chaos is cutting a promo after the match, the light go out. When they come back on Dick Togo is choking out Ishii in the middle of the ring as Evil stalks around looking proud of himself. Evil throws the titles around as if they were trash bags and gives an Everything is Evil to Ishii. Goto and Hashi chase off the heels.
