Kenny Omega puts it all on the line against Moose as AEW continues to wreck havoc in Impact Wrestling. Here are our predictions and prognostications.
Kenny Omega (champion) versus Moose – Impact World Championship Match
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
Since we have seen just how far this Impact / AEW angle is going, I think it is time we put it to bed. It isn’t likely to be a full-on war between the two promotions so my interest has faded rather quickly. Somehow I don’t see Moose as the person to reclaim the title but I could be wrong. Winner: Kenny Omega.

Although the move to Daily’s Place is supposed to be a disadvantage to Omega in the storyline, since he won’t have his Good Brother cronies there to help him, I don’t think that will be the case. I see someone else coming to help him instead, and help him keep the title. It’s actually a better thing for Impact too, since Omega and Sami Callihan at Slammiversary is more intriguing than Moose vs. Sami. Winner: Kenny Omega
Satoshi Kojima versus Joe Doering
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
Kojima is one of the NJPW greats and is as tough as quantum physics. Unfortunately, I think he is going to be used to get Doering over. Still, this should be a hard-hitting, cruel bout. Winner: Joe Doering

I’ve really liked the way they’ve booked Doering as an unstoppable monster. It would make no sense for him to lose to Kojima, who hasn’t really done anything in Impact to make him look like a major threat. Winner: Joe Doering
Deonna Purrazzo (champion) versus Rosemary – Impact Knockouts Championship Match
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
This is the biggest threat to date to Purrazzo’s title reign. Even though Rosemary is going test The Virtuosa like nobody has done before in Impact, Purrazzo has brought the division to new heights and shouldn’t be bumped down just yet. Winner: Deonna Purrazzo.

After what happened on Impact this Thursday, it seems like they’re setting up for Rosemary to team up with Havok to win the Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Which is probably a better choice than to take the title off of Deonna right now, since she’s just so good. Winner: Deonna Purrazzo
Violent By Design (champions) versus Decay – Impact World Tag Team Championship Match
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
If they do this feud right it could really light a fire under Impact especially if there are shades of ECW mixed in. Violent By Design needs a longer reign and this feud to really, really ignite. Winners: Violent By Design.

Given the way Deaner has been taking so many losses recently – seriously, it’s like he’s the Shawn Spears of VBD’s Pinnacle – this match could either be the one where he loses the titles and VBD kick him out, or his redemption. I hope it’s the latter, because it’s too early to break up this faction now. Winner: Violent By Design
Rich Swann versus W. Morrissey
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
It is the old David versus Goliath deal. I am just glad to see Morrissey bettering himself though in all sorts of ways. I hope that his positive momentum can continue. His could be a great, real-life redemption story for many people out there and proof that people deserve second, third or even fourth chances. Winner: W Morrissey.
Bob Kapur

Morrissey pretty much squashing Willie Mack over the past few weeks has been a good way to build him up, and I don’t think he should lose. But I also don’t think Swann should lose a big match after just recently losing the title, lest it push him too far down the crowd. So I see this one being ending inconclusively, so the feud continues. Winner: None
Petey Williams versus Trey Miguel versus Ace Austin versus Chris Bey versus Rohit Raju – Five-way, Number One Contender Match for the Impact X Division Championship
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
With so much talent in the ring this will be the match of the night and will probably blow some people’s minds. Winner: Ace Austin.
Bob Kapur
Senior Editor
After this Thursday, the person I’d actually like to see feud with Josh Alexander is Mad Man Fulton. I think that happens, but it will be as a spin-off to a match with Ace Austin. In order for that to happen, Austin gets the win here. Winner: Ace Austin
Fire ‘N Flava (champions) versus Kimber Lee and Susan – Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
Fire ‘N Flava, because why not? They are the best women’s team Impact has right now. Winners: Fire ‘N Flava
Bob Kapur
Senior Editor
Like I said before, it would appear they are setting up for Rosemary and Havok to challenge for the titles. But which of these heel teams do they face? I think Fire N Flava are the more entertaining team, and the promos they could have with Rosemary and Havok would be more entertaining. So I’m going with that scenario. Winners: Fire N Flava
Jordynne Grace versus Tenille Dashwood
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
Not a fan of Grace’s style. She wrestles as if she has concrete in her veins. Dashwood will use her agility to outwit Grace. Winner: Tenille Dashwood.
Bob Kapur
Senior Editor
They’ve been building for Jordynne to turn on Rachael for a while now, and I think this is the match that finally breaks them apart. I think Grace loses the match, and then out of frustration attacks Dashwood afterwards. Rachael tries to talk her down, and Grace lets her have it. Winner: Tenille Dashwood
Sami Callihan and Tommy Dreamer versus The Good Brothers
John Powell
Editor-in-Chief
This should be a hard hitting encounter that could get out of hand really, really quickly. Winners: The Good Brothers
Bob Kapur
Senior Editor
As Sami is getting the title shot at Slammiversary, it would make sense for him to be kept strong leading into that match. But since there’s still more than a month to go before then, I think this will be a long road with twists and turns. The first one being his team losing here with Tommy Dreamer taking the fall. Which will likely lead to a hardcore match betwen the two at some point. But it begins with a loss here. Winners: The Good Brothers
