Tag team legend Road Warrior Animal, Joe Laurinaitas, has died.

No less than Hulk Hogan tweeted out the news.

Laurinaitas, 60 years old, wished his wife, Kim Turman Laurinaitis, a happy birthday on his Facebook page yesterday, September 22, 2020.

Happy Anniversary to the most amazing person who is the most unselfish women ever, a heart of gold she loves life, family, everyone.
Thank you baby for being my beautiful wife!
I love you!
Kim Turman Laurinaitis posted to Facebook:

My life, my heart, my everything are completely shattered …still in shock after spending a wonderful day & evening celebrating our anniversary. Please respect my families privacy to digest the worst news of our life ..just please pray ALOT(because I sure have questions for God after this one) nd a lot of strength getting through this time.

Laurinaitas, along with partner Road Warrior Hawk (Mike Hegstrand) were the most dominant tag team of the 1980s and into the 1990s. His brothers also wrestled, and his son played in the NFL.

Condolences are streaming in through social media.
