The WWE has expanded.
WWE has purchased Evolve Wrestling which gives them rights to the name, to put on events and their entire video library, this according to PWInsider.
In 2011, Evolve and Dragon Gate USA combined forces to form the Evolve Wrestling that is known today.
The promotion was founded by Gabe Sapolsky and has had a business relationship with the WWE since 2015. Their 10th anniversary celebration was even broadcast on the WWE Network.
Wrestlers who came out of and who wrestled for the promotion include Rich Swann, Chuck Taylor, Sami Callihan, Ricochet, Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno), Drew McIntyre, Matt Riddle, Austin Theory, Daniel Bryan, Walter and Sabu.
