Despite a better than expected return performance from Shawn Michaels, an injury to Triple H mid-match and the general slowness of Brothers of Destruction made this just a real slog to get through. Michaels was the lone bright spot and could be ready for a big retirement dream match if he decided, but this was sloppy and dangerous at times for the performers involved.

The undercard of WWE Crown Jewel had me prepared to call this a surprisingly good show, with three or four good matches in a row anchoring the show, but the main events of the evening cemented the fact that this show would have been better off canceled. It is hard to blame anyone unable to put the politics of the show aside in the first place, but these shows are shaping up to be glorified house shows with legends segments from a wrestling perspective.
