Undertaker beat and dragged to hell at Hell in a Cell

A fierce rivalry comes to an end in one of the most brutal matches in the history of professional wrestling. After a controversial win at SummerSlam, The Undertaker looks to avenge his Streak-breaking loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXI once and for all inside the cell. Tonight at WWE Hell in a Cell, Lesnar vs. Undertaker for the final time. Plus, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt tangle inside the same structure and Rollins looks to put Kane out of a job while retaining his WWE World Heavyweight Championship! All that and more at this year’s edition of WWE Hell in a Cell!

Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, & Neville vs. Rusev, Sheamus, & King Barrett

Sheamus starts with Neville and works him into the corner. Neville comes back with kicks and brings in Cesaro. Neville lands a corkscrew splash off the back of Cesaro to get Cesaro a nearfall. Neville tags back in and gets worked over by Sheamus, followed by King Barrett and Rusev. Dolph Ziggler gets in and drops Sheamus. Famouser on Sheamus gets Ziggler a nearfall and Barrett distracts the referee. Rusev drops Ziggler with a superkick as we break.

Barrett works Ziggler down as we return. Punt to the midsection gets Barrett a nearfall and Rusev in to continue the grounding offense. Suplex nearfall from Sheamus and Ziggler comes back, only for Rusev to knock his partners off the apron. Rusev sent out and Cesaro and Barrett in. Cesaro plays the house of fire and delivers uppercuts to all. Crossbody for a nearfall off the top by Cesaro. Neville takes out Rusev and Sheamus on the floor and Barrett tries to land a Bull Hammer off the distraction. Ziggler catches him with a superkick and Cesaro Swing follows. Red Arrow from Neville off the tag.

WWE United States Champion John Cena gives us an intro for his open challenge.

Zeb Colter comes out on a scooter and says some people like Cena and some people don’t. Colter calls Cena a divider and Colter says it is time for people to come together. Colter says it is time for Cena to lose the US title and he wants to introduce his opponent for the night…

WWE United States Championship Open Challenge: John Cena (c) vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Zeb Colter)

John Cena with a side headlock and shoulder tackle to start. Alberto Del Rio returns the favor with a kick that forces Cena to move out. Cena works ADR into the corner and ADR comes back with an arm drag and armbar combo. Kicks from ADR and his hip attack on the second rope misses. Cena brings him back in and gets hit with a backbreaker for a nearfall. Chop off the top gets a nearfall and ADR works Cena down. Cena starts a comeback with a suplex and he goes up top, but ADR catches him with an enzuigiri for another nearfall. Chop to the head off the top again gets another pin attempt on Cena. Cross Armbreaker called for and Cena stops it with a clothesline and lands the shoulder tackles that lead to the Five Knuckle Shuffle. AA attempt turned into a backstabber from ADR and he lands a superkick on the downed Cena.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins meets The Authority in their office. Rollins says that was a great kickoff to Hell in a Cell, but not as great as the times he has beaten Cena. The Authority asks what Rollins wants and Rollins starts to talk about Kane. Corporate Kane makes his way in and apologizes for his actions, but he is ready to serve since his suspension is up. The Authority say this is a private meeting and Rollins tells him to get out. Kane wishes Rollins luck because he is going to need it.

Hell in a Cell: Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt

Roman Reigns works Bray Wyatt into the corners and along the ropes with strikes. Wyatt strikes back and Reigns stops the attack with a clothesline. Reigns throws Wyatt around the ring and misses a Drive-By dropkick, but lands an uppercut on the comeback. Drive-By connects on the second try and Wyatt sent into the cell. Wyatt fights back from the floor and works Reigns with a kendo stick. Reigns dropped off the top after a shot with the kendo stick. Wyatt sends Reigns into the cell and brings a chair out. Wyatt sets up a swing and then sits it down to hit Reigns with the kendo stick. The stick and the chair hung inside the chain links and Wyatt slams the head of Reigns through the stick. Reigns comes back with uppercuts and runs Wyatt into the chair. Reigns brings out two kendo sticks and goes to town to the body. A table next brought into play and Reigns sets up one table in the corner of the cell. Wyatt throws one table out of the ring and gets hit with a Drive-By. Wyatt and Reigns fight on the apron and Wyatt lands a uranage through one of the tables that earns a nearfall. Senton from Wyatt gets the same.

Reigns sent out and Wyatt splashes Reigns against the cell. Wyatt punches the head of Reigns against the post. Wyatt puts a new table inside and drops Reigns in the corner. Wyatt looks for a superplex through the table, but Reigns blocks and ducks under to powerbomb Wyatt through for a nearfall. Short-arm clotheslines in the corner from Reigns and he charges a dazed Wyatt. Sister Abigail turned into a schoolboy nearfall by Reigns. Superman Punch follows and almost finishes Wyatt. Reigns and Wyatt fight on the apron and Reigns lands a Spear through the table to the floor. Spear inside turned into a kick by Wyatt and Sister Abigail lands, but Reigns able to kick out. Wyatt sets two of the kendo sticks up in the corner like spears. Reigns blocks and takes one kendo stick to the body of Wyatt. Wyatt sent into the top rope kendo stick and hit with a Spear.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day make their way out and Kofi Kingston says Xavier Woods would play a song of gratitude for the support of the WWE Universe. Kingston tells everyone to put up their unicorn horns and Big E says this is a sad day as all they have left of Woods is a broken trombone. Kingston promises to play bongos on D-Von Dudley’s head and Big E will play bass drum on Bubba Ray Dudley’s belly like a “Caucasian Kamala.”

Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships: The New Day (c) vs. The Dudley Boyz

Kofi Kingston starts out with D-Von Dudley and D-Von with a flapjack and headbutt for a nearfall. Bubba Ray Dudley in and a double team gets a nearfall. Kingston put up top and hit with a press slam. New Day moves outside and calls for timeout. The Dudleyz work Kingston until Big E makes his way in with a shoulder tackle. Big E stomps D-Von down in the corner and New Days plays the isolation game. DDT from Kingston gets a nearfall and Kingston goes back to working D-Von down. Splash from Big E gets another nearfall and Whassup? from New Day misses as D-Von kicks away. Bubba in like a house of fire and Whassup? connects for the Dudley Boyz. Bubba calls for D-Von to get the tables and Kingston lands a dropkick. Kingston brings the trombone in and tosses it to Bubba. Kingston flops and Bubba pleads with the referee. The referee doesn’t buy the act and 3D II lands for a nearfall. 3D called for and Big E comes in with the trombone to the head. D-Von clotheslines Big E out and Kingston takes advantage with Trouble in Paradise.

Match for the WWE Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Nikki Bella

Lockup starts the match in a stalemate and Charlotte sends Nikki Bella into the corner. Charlotte strikes Bella into the corner and Bella comes back. The action spills outside and Bella throws Charlotte into the crowd. Bella works Charlotte against the barricade and chains submissions together inside. Suplex gets Bella a nearfall. Slingshot suplex sees Charlotte land on her feet. Bella with backslides for a series of nearfalls and a knee to the head gets another. Single-leg Boston Crab in on Charlotte. Catapult against the ropes and rebound onto the knees of Bella puts Charlotte down for another nearfall. Charlotte comes back with a big boot for a nearfall, but Bella stops the come back. Spinebuster gets Bella another pin attempt. Charlotte sends Bella into the corner and lands a neckbreaker. The two fight up top and Charlotte counters a German Superplex with a flip. Spear and Figure Eight attempt in, but Bella gets the reversal and rope break. Charlotte sent out and Bella with an Alabama Slam on the apron. Rack Attack inside sees Charlotte move out and roll through to Figure Eight.

Roman Reigns in the locker room and Dean Ambrose meets him to congratulate him. Ambrose asks Reigns if he knows what’s next and Reigns says they will talk about it tomorrow night. The two will celebrate later tonight.

Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (If Demon Kane loses, Corporate Kane loses his Director of Operations job): Seth Rollins (c) vs. Demon Kane

Seth Rollins gets in the face of Kane and says that he is one person. Rollins isn’t afraid and he shoves Kane. Kane comes back with a DDT and leg drop. Uppercut sends Rollins outside and Kane strips the Spanish announce table. Rollins goes inside for a suicide dive, but Kane pulls him down and lands another uppercut. Rollins comes back by snapping the head of Kane over the top rope and landing a flip dive. Rollins working Kane down inside and going after the neck. Roundhouse kicks to the chest land and Kane misses a big boot in the corner. Rollins works Kane down in the corner and tells him he is “just a man.” Rollins charges into an uppercut and gets sat up top. Superplex from Kane lands. Corner clotheslines from Kane and a big boot gets a nearfall. Kane goes up top, but Rollins meets him. Kane sends him down and lands a flying clothesline. Chokeslam spun out of by Rollins and he lands an enzuigiri. Pedigree countered with a back bodydrop and Kane lands the Chokeslam for a nearfall. Tombstone called for and Rollins escapes outside. Kane sends him into the apron and lands a sidewalk slam on the announce table cover. Rollins thrown over the announce table and he gets him up. Rollins ducks under and powerbombs him on the Spanish announce table. Kane bounces off and the table doesn’t break.

Kane gets back into the ring and beats the count. Pedigree countered and Rollins lands a kick from the apron. Springboard knee drops Kane and Rollins goes up top to land another knee. Rollins unable to put Kane away and he stares over. Kane grabs the throat and looks for a Chokeslam, but Rollins pulls him down into a Pedigree.

Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Ryback

Ryback goes after Kevin Owens early and it spills outside. Owens comes back and gets dropped by a back elbow. Delayed back bodydrop from Ryback and Owens lands on his feet on the press slam. Ryback gets him back up for a delayed vertical suplex and misses Owens in the corner. Ryback lands on his shoulder and Owens goes after the arm before being dropped to the floor. Owens comes back and works Ryback down. Cannonball stopped by Ryback getting a spinebuster. Meat Hook Clothesline blocked, but Ryback gets a powerbomb for a nearfall. Owens sends Ryback to the floor and looks for a countout. Rollup gets a nearfall for Owens back inside and Ryback lands a Meat Hook Clothesline. Shell Shocked sees Owens grab the ropes and move to the apron. Kick to the head sets up the Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Hell in a Cell: The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman)

Both men take striking stances and Brock Lesnar looks for a German Suplex. The Undertaker strikes and Lesnar returns fire. Taker works Lesnar into the corner and Lesnar fights out. German attempt sees Taker swing Lesnar out to the floor. Taker sent off the cage and Lesnar thrown off the post. Lesnar bloodied as Taker punches him up against the cage and the ring. A chair put in the ring and Lesnar catches Taker walking in with a spinebuster. Lesnar goes to work with the chair and the ringside doctor works on the cut of Lesnar. Lesnar takes the chair outside and goes to the head and body of Taker. Taker sent into the cell and he starts to shed blood. Taker with a suplex on the floor and the two men stagger back inside. Taker spikes Lesnar on his throat with the chair for a nearfall. Taker works Lesnar down and Lesnar ducks a clothesline to land a German Suplex. Taker gets back to his feet to land a shot or two before returning to Suplex City. Another suplex and an F5, but Taker kicks out. The referee steps in to check on Taker and Lesnar tosses the doctor out. F5 lands again and Taker again able to kick out. Lesnar tosses the stairs inside and bounces them off the head of Taker for another nearfall. The steps almost slammed on the leg of Taker and Taker kicks away. Lesnar goes back to it and gets the steps kicked back. Hell’s Gate in for Taker as Lesnar gets back to him. Lesnar pummels Taker with ground and pound to break the hold.

Lesnar starts tearing the mat up and exposes the boards. Taker sits up and Lesnar looks to go in for the kill. Taker catches him and lands a Chokeslam on the boards. Tombstone lands for Taker and Lesnar able to kick out. Taker in disbelief and he signals for another Tombstone. Lesnar with a low blow and the F5 lands on the exposed boards.

Post-match, Brock Lesnar staggers backstage with Paul Heyman as The Undertaker tries to get up and gets to his feet. Undertaker picks himself up and then gets down to his knee to pose.

The Wyatt Family make their way out and stalk the ring. They get into the ring and beat Undertaker down. Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman, and Luke Harper hold Undertaker up as Bray Wyatt punches to the head and to the body. The Wyatts carry Taker out with arms spread over their shoulders. The show closes with them carrying him back.
