WWE Diva Emma released, then reinstated following arrest

WWE Diva Emma, born Tenille Dashwood, was released from the company as reported on the company’s website earlier today. The release came off the news that Dashwood was arrested Monday afternoon in Hartford, Conn. on charges of sixth-degree larceny. Dashwood was charged with shoplifting an iPad case from a Wal-Mart department store, according to Hartford Police.

Shortly after news of the arrest broke, the WWE issued a statement. The company stated, “WWE is aware that Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) was arrested for shoplifting. Ms. Dashwood is ultimately responsible for her personal actions.” According to the local newspaper The Hartford Courant, Dashwood was ordered to perform community service, as stated by Dashwood’s lawyer Hubert Santos. Santos also maintains that the arrest was the result of a self-checkout mistake.

However, merely hours after the release was announced on the WWE website, a followup announced that Dashwood had officially been reinstated after further reconsideration from the company.

Further news on the reinstatement or the arrest will be detailed as reported.
