Fans and wrestlers of the Philadelphia based Combat Zone Wrestling promotion are mourning the passing of one of their own. Christopher Bauman Jr, known to fans as Chri$ Ca$h passed away last night after being involved in a motorcycle accident near his home in South Jersey. The 6’3″ 195 pound Bauman trained at the CZW academy and debuted on September 22, 2001. He was one of the top stars in the company in recent months, with noteable feuds with Sonjay Dutt, GQ and Ruckus. He participated in CZW’s annual “Tournament of Death” and main evented the December 11th, 2004 “Cage of Death” event, teaming with JC Bailey, Nate Webb, & Sexxxy Eddy to defeat Ruckus, Sabian, Eddie Kingston & Jack Evans.
Former CZW wrestler Jimmy Rave had one of his final matches with Cash.
“Chris was a full of energy and full of life kinda guy. Its a shame that he passed so young. God bless you Chris,” posted Rave.
