Former Insane Championship Wrestling and Scottish Wrestling Alliance talent Steven Cavanagh, 39, has been charged with communicating indecently and arranging to meet with a child.

Steven Cavanagh was chatting online with who he thought was a teenage girl. In reality, it was a police decoy.

Cavanaugh was calling himself “hornysteveUK” on the social media app: Chat Avenue. The officer was posing as a 14-year-old girl.

“Cavanagh brought it to sexual matters and asked what things she liked to do with boys,” a Glasgow Sheriff Court heard.

Cavanagh was arrested by police at a scheduled meeting between the two.

Cavanagh pleaded guilty on Friday saying: “I made a bad mistake. I am bang to rights. I did it, like I said it’s black and white.”

“Sentence was deferred pending background reports by Sheriff Daniel Kelly who put Cavanagh, now of Govan, on the sex offenders register and granted him bail meantime,” reported The Daily Mail.
