Zack Sabre Jr. , Shingo Takagi and Great-O-Khan have made it to the next stage of the NJPW G1 Climax tournament.

Zack Sabre Jr. has already claimed a spot in the semi-finals of A Block. With their victories today and victories against Evil and Naito, Shingo Takagi and Great-O-Khan will meet in the semi-finals of A Block.

Tetsuya Naito, the the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, was defeated by the Great-O-Khan and therefore is out of contention.

In the G1, Naito had already lost to Evil, Zach Sabre Jr. and Shingo Takagi which makes you wonder if he should be even holding the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at this point. He hasn’t been portrayed as a strong champion.

Naito gave Khan several elbows to the back of the head to soften him up for Destino. Khan fought back with a side suplex. Naito countered his attempted chokeslam with a victory roll for a two count. Naito hit Destino and pumped his fist in the air too early as Khan kicked out.

Khan blocked another Destino with reverse DDT and spiked Naito with an Eliminator for a three count.
