We are less than two weeks away from the Extreme Rules: The Horror Show; as opposed to the 2020: The Horror Show. You would think the build for the show will continue tonight, but in these uncertain times, who knows? Dolph Ziggler is slated to announce the stipulation for his title match with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Burying the lead here, Rey Mysterio is also supposed to make his return tonight. And since Bayley and Sasha Banks are appearing on every show, they also will be back on RAW tonight.

The WWE champ is in the ring and ready to get down to business. Dolph Ziggler walks out on stage, announcing that his stipulation will be a secret until Extreme Rules. Dolph does bring out someone from Drew’s past that Dolph claims he screwed over. Out walks Heath Slater, who had been released months ago. Sporting a “Free Agent” t-shirt, Slater talks to his former 3MB partner.

Heath talks about watching Drew beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania; the joy of watching him win brought him to tears. Slater recalls calling Drew everyday after McIntyre was released. Heath wants to know where Drew was when he go released in April. He never called. Drew told Heath he would petition to have a match, but it never happened. Slater wants what he was promised and shoves the champion. He follows up with a slap across the face. McIntyre grants Slater’s wish; the fight is on.


Drew McIntyre vs. Heath Slater w/Dolph Ziggler – Non-Title Match


Neither men are dressed for this impromptu match. Slater comes out firing with fists, but he gives Drew an opening. That opening allows the champ to connect with a Claymore kick. McIntyre covers Slater and gets the win.

Winner via pinfall: Heath Slater


After the match, Ziggler starts slapping Slater around. Heath stand up for himself, only for Dolph to take him down. McIntyre runs back to the ring to save his friend. Drew demands Dolph get in the ring, but Ziggler tells him he will only fight at Extreme Rules. McIntyre helps his friend up and the two embrace.

Sarah Schreibe welcomes Sasha Banks and Bayley to the interview area. Bayley doesn’t want to talk to her; she wants to talk to the world. The champs walk off, as Asuka watches them. She infers to Sarah that she isn’t alone.

The Women’s Tag Team champions are in the ring. Bayley will face Asuka tonight, in a champion versus champion match before taking on Nikki Cross at Extreme Rules. Sasha says at Horror Show she will make Asuka tap out to become Two Belts Banks.

Asuka has heard enough, making her way out on stage; telling Bayley she isn’t ready for Asuka. The Smackdown champ knows Asuka is up to something involving Sasha, so she tells Asuka that Banks is ready for anything. Banks doesn’t appear to be ready for the returning Kari Sane, though, and that match is next.


Sasha Banks w/Bayley vs. Kari Sane w/Asuka


Banks backs Kari into the corner, beating her down. Sasha with an arm drag off the turnbuckle, but Kari springs right to her feet; unloading a flurry of strikes. She connects with a low drop kick and goes for an early pin. Banks kicks out. Sasha reverses a straight jacket hold. Kari counters into an octopus hold. Banks throws Kari to the mat, while taunting Asuka. Bayley joins in and Asuka floors her. Banks checks on her friend, and Sane takes them both out with a baseball slide.

After a break, Sasha hits a back breaker. Kari immediately kicks out of the pin. Banks beats on Kari in the corner and drops the double knees. Sasha knees Sane through the ropes and kicks her in the head. Kari avoids the double knees in the corner, landing an axe kick. Sane connects with a flying forearm smash, but Banks is able to kick out. Kari hits a running blockbuster and then with a interceptor spear. Banks is down in the corner. Kari with the sliding elbow and Banks kicks out again.  Banks counters a sunset flip and the two trade near falls. A close quarter meteora to Sane doesn’t get a pin, either. Banks sizes up Sane in the corner, landing a knee strike to the back of the neck. Sane dodges a meteora and Sane counters with a anchor submission. Bayley runs in, kicking Kari in the head to break the hold. The ref calls for the bell.

Winner via disqualification: Kari Sane


Asuka tries to save her friend, but gets overwhelmed n the floor. Kari Sane flies in with an Insane elbow to save Asuka.

Backstage, Aleister Black is down with Murphy standing over him. Seth Rollins calls it a shame.

Elsewhere backstage, the Viking Raiders want to have some fun, but Big Show isn’t having it, tonight. He stresses how dangerous Randy Orton is. The Raiders know this, but still want to have some fun. Show gives both men a chop and now Ivar is fired up. Erik announces that the raid is on.


The Kevin Owens Show


With tonight’s guests, Owens decides to take some precautions. He tosses the chairs out of the ring and introduces the piece of trash, or as he calls himself, the Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins. Murphy is in tow, but Austin Theory is still MIA. You can draw your own conclusions on where he is.

Rollins doesn’t see the need for tossing the chairs; he is honored to be on the show. Seth asks about Owen’s injured ankle. KO tells him it probably feels better then Seth’s ego. The two now have bond after facing each other at WrestleMania, and Owens wants to cheer Seth up. He hands Rollins a KO-Mania shirt; it’s just like the one Owens’ was wearing when he beat Seth at ‘Mania. Rollins doesn’t care about any of this. He is using the show as a platform to address Rey Mysterio. Seth wants a match with him at Extreme Rules. He also propose to Owens that he would get more out of fighting with Rollins, instead of fighting against him. He wants Owens to fight for the greater good.

Before Owens can says anything, Rey Mysterio and his son walk out on stage. Rey accepts the challenge at Extreme Rules. Rollins wants to know what Rey is going to do now that Aleister Black is out for the night. Owens interrupts, telling Seth he will never fight by his side, but he will fight with Mysterio. Owens says the winner of tonight’s match can pick the stipulation for the match at Extreme Rules. Seth likes that idea, as Murphy attacks Owens from behind. Rey makes the save.


Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens w/Dominic vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy


Rey is still wearing an eye patch over his injured eye. It doesn’t stop him from coming off the ropes with a cross body. Murphy rolls through, nearly getting a pin. Owens tags in, beating Murphy in the corner. He hits an inverted atomic drop and takes Murphy down with a clothesline. Rollins tags in, but Owens is ready, taking him to the mat and hitting a senton. Mysterio and Murphy tag in. Rey sends him into ropes with a head scissors. Murphy dodges the 619 and takes advantage of a Rollins distraction. Murphy and Rollins get in Dominic’s face a ring side. He thumbs the kid in the eye as we go to break.

Owens starts to sell his ankle injury and Rollins tries to lock in a single leg crab. Rollins breaks the hold as Owens gets to the ropes. KO blasts Murphy off the apron. Rollins misses a leaping knee strike and Owens catches him with a super kick. Mysterio gets the hot tag. He hits a seated senton and then a head scissors. A low drop kick catches Murphy in the face. Rey sends Murphy shoulder first into the post. Rey avoids Rollins, but Seth grabs Dominic at ringside. Aleister Blacks’s music hits and he walks to the ring.  Chaos ensues, but Black doesn’t lay a hand on Rollins. Dominic gauges Murphy in the eye as the ref is distracted. Mysterio hits the 619 on Murphy as Owens takes out Rollins on the floor. Rey hits the frog splash on Murphy and covers to get the win.

After the match, Rey announces the stipulation for Horror Show. It will be an eye for an eye. Rey wants to pull Seth’s eye out.

Charly Caruso welcomes Bobby Lashley and MVP. Lashley says the clock is ticking on Apollo Crew’s title reign.

MVP and Bobby Lashley make their way to the ring. We learn that MVP has a title match with Apollo Crews after beating him last week. MVP all ready considers himself the United State Champion. He even has a title belt to unveil. It’s a nice looking belt. MVP can’t wait to make this official. Lashley wants to do it right now. He crowns MVP the new United State champion.

Ricochet and Cedric Alexander walk out. Alexander likes the look of the belt, but he is confused. MVP knows he has to earn championships. When Apollo returns, this fantasy is going to end. Ricochet and Cedric are here to put the hurt business into Chapter 11. The two clear the ring, taking out Lashley with a double drop kick.

Cedric with a kick to the face on Lashley. Ricochet goes up and over onto the apron and lands a kick. Bobby blasts him off the apron to the floor. MVP gets the tag, tossing Ricochet into the ring steps and barricade. MVP pummels Ricochet in the corner. Lashley tags backs in, brutalizing Ricochet. He hits a delayed vertical suplex and follows with a flatliner. MVP tags in for the pin, but Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet floats over a suplex and connects with an enziugiri. Alexander gets the hot tag, kicking Lashley off the apron. He runs into a back elbow and Lashley tags in. Cedric is knocked off the apron as MVP takes out Ricochet. Lashley hits Cedric with a spear and covers to get the win.

After the match, Lashley locks in the full nelson on Alexander. It takes a drop kick form Ricochet to break the hold and the two get to the ramp.

Backstage, Zelina Vega wants to talk with Andrade. She gets Angel Garza to apologize, but Andrade doesn’t want to hear it. Ric Flair tries to step in, telling them that they need to get the job done or they will answer to Randy Orton, who just happens to show up. Orton tells them that Big Show is his and if they mess that up he will introduce them to the Legend Killer.

Charly Caruso welcomes Kari Sane and Asuka to the interview area. She wants their thoughts on Bayley and Sasha Banks calling themselves the dominate force in WWE. Asuka is going to challenge Bayley for a WWE Women’s tag team title match after she beats her tonight. Kari plays them off with a recorder.


The Big Show and the Viking Raiders vs. Randy Orton, Andrade and Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega


Show wants to get his hands on Orton, but Garza is sent out for him. He beats Angel down and then chops away at him in the corner. Ivar and Erik get quick tags to double team Garza. Ivar looks for a suplex, but Garza floats over, falling into his own corner. Andrade tags himsefl in, only to get Ivar and Erik slammed onto him. Garza breaks the pin and starts yelling at Andrade. Orton to talk to Garza; he slams him up against the plexi-glass, threatening to put him in the dirt if he doesn’t get his act together.

After the commercial break, Orton and Andrade double team Erik. Orton jaws with Big Show from the apron, as Garza ties up Erik in the corner. Garza hits a massive chop. Andrade tags in and the two beat on Erik in the corner. Orton then hits a cheap shot. Erik gets the tag to Show, who takes down Andrade. He crushes him in the corner and takes him down with a shoulder. Show wants a choke slam. Orton tries to hit an RKO, but Show catches him and Orton retreats. Andrade locks in a sleeper hold, but Show is able to sling him off. Andrade saves Garza from the Viking Experience, as Orton tags himself in. He hits Erik with an RKO out of nowhere. He covers and gets the win.

Peyton Royce is super excited to watch Billie Kay beat up Ruby Riott tonight. Royce has heard that Liv isn’t returning Ruby’s calls. Riott walks up behind them, giving both a start. Ruby is focused on the both of them and that is going to be tragic.

MVP is with Cedric Alexander and has some questions. MVP knows Cedric has heart and he has always been impressed by him. He wants to know why Cedric is content being Ricochet’s sidekick. Alexander is too smart to fall for this. MVP points out the Ricochet has a new special, while he doesn’t. MVP let’s Cedric know that he will have to be content to watch other’s success from back in catering.

Ric Flair and Orton are talking when R Truth accidentally runs into Orton. Truth tells Flair he cleans up nice for the Dirtiest Player in the game. Truth runs off as Akira Tozawa runs in, but he stops short in front of Orton, who send Akira off in the wrong direction.


Ruby Riott vs. Billie Kay w/Peyton Royce


Billie taunts Ruby, who takes a shot at Peyton. Riott runs into a big boot, but is able to kick out of the pin. Billie stomps her into the corner, as Peyton enjoys everything from ringside. Kay with a suplex and locks in a bow and arrow. Riott counters into a pin, but Kay kicks out. Ruby with a back elbow and slams Billie into the middle turnbuckle. Peyton jumps to the apron and Ruby knocks her to the floor. Kay uses the distraction to hit Ruby in the throat. She hits a sit out spinebuster and covers Ruby to get the win.

Bayley cant believe that Asuka thinks she can win, tonight. Sasha accepts Asuka’s challenge for the tag belts, which doesn’t go over great with Bayley.


Bayley w/Sasha Banks vs. Asuka w/Kari Sane – Champion versus Champion Match


Nikki Cross joins the announce table and she wants a piece of Bayley.

Asuka with a shoulder block and the two run around each other. Bayley rolls out of the ring to avoid an arm bar. Bayley catches Asuka with a kick on the apron, before turning her attention to Cross. Bayley knocks off her headset and security has to hold Cross off. They carry her off from ringside. Bayley tries to surprise Asuka, but instead catches a knee to the face.

After the commercial break, the fight is back in the ring. Bayley with a deep arm drag. Bayley stomps away at Asuka in the corner. She takes her over with a snap mare and locks in a head lock. Asuka is dumped out of the ring. Kari keeps Banks at bay, allowing Asuka to recover. Bayley misses a kick through the ropes and Asuka nails a super kick. Asuka unleashes a flurry of kicks, but it’s not enough to get a pin. Asuka is whipped into the corner, but launches herself off the turnbuckle to connect with a kick. Bayley retreats to the floor, running from Asuka. She catches the RAW champ, catapulting her against the bottom rope. Asuka kicks out of another pin. Bayley slams Asuka into the announce table and takes a break by joining commentary.

After another round of commercials, Bayley slams Asuka into the mat face first. Asuka is smashed into the top turnbuckle. Bayley pounds on Asuka on the mat. Bayley taunts Asuka, just serving to fire her up. Asuka with a back fist and then a kick to the face. She follows with a double knees strike. Asuka hits a drop kick and a knee to the face. Bayley is hit with a hip attack and then thrown across the ring with a release German suplex. Asuka covers after another hip attack, but Bayley kicks out. Bayley catches Asuka in the ropes. Bayley misses a clothesline, allowing Asuka to hit a devastating spinning back fist. A hip attacks sends the Smackdown champ to the floor.

Asuka gets yanked off the apron. She avoids a strike on the apron and goes up top. Asuka delivers a flying drop kick, but still can’t get the pin. The two fight on the apron. Asuka is dropped onto the top turnbuckle, falling to the floor. Bayley knees her into the barricade and then takes a shot at Kari, who tries to get at Bayley. The ref keeps her from getting in the ring, but this allows Sasha to hit Asuka with a cheap shot. Bayley with a back suplex, but can’t get the pin.

Bayley chokes Asuka on the ropes. Sasha grabs a bottle of water for Bayley, who then tosses it at Asuka. Bayley is startled by Nikki Cross, who made her way to the crowd and is pounding on the glass. Asuka grabs Bayley, yanking her into the ring and applying the Asuka lock. Kari Sane stops Sasha from interfering with a spear. Asuka rolls up Bayley and gets the three count.

With less then two weeks until Extreme Rules: Horror Show, WWE actually delivers an entertaining Monday Night RAW. There’s a lot less filler this week, with most of the action taking place in the ring. Asuka and Bayley deliver in the Main Event. Rey Mysterio makes his return, along with Kevin Owens to get one over on Seth Rollins heading into the pay per view.
